Publication of article in ICTSD-ECDPM International Trade Publication ‘Trade Negotiations Insights’

As part of series of activities to build awareness of the work of EPA Implementation nationally, regionally and internationally, the Antigua & Barbuda EPA Implementation is seeking to collaborate with media outlets to discuss issues relevant to the implementation of the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) in Antigua & Barbuda.

The first collaboration was the publication of an article in the joint monthly publication ‘Trade Negotiations Insights’ by the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM) based in Brussels, Belgium and International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) based in Geneva, Switzerland. Trade Negotiations Insights provides news and analysis on trade and economic issues related to African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries from a sustainable development perspective. The publication is featuring series that deals with the current EPA negotiations and implementation efforts.

The article entitled “Moving forward with EPA implementation in the Caribbean: the example of Antigua and Barbuda” is featured in the February 2011 edition highlighting the objectives of the work programme as well as the progress of implementation and the plan of action to address the issues of implementation.
