Prelaunch of Website for the Antigua and Barbuda EPA Implementation Unit


The German International Development Agency (GIZ) have been providing technical and financial support to the region’s EPA Implementing Authorities and like entities since….The assistance provided thus far have greatly supported the implementation of the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) at both the regional and national levels. Public awareness through the use of various media tools have been one of the focus areas of support provided by GIZ.

Global Marketing, have been contracted by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development to re-design the website for the Antigua and Barbuda EPA Implementation Unit. The website is an integral feature of the Unit’s Communication Strategy, as well as a means of providing valuable information and updates on the implementation of the Agreement both at the national and regional level. Additionally, the website will be used to build positive engagement and interaction with stakeholders and would also be used as an alternative communication point and consultative medium whereby stakeholders can interact with the Unit on matters relating to the Agreement.

The project commenced on July 29th, 2013 and it is expected that the new interactive website will be launched sometime in September 2013.
